The birds of Baudini Rizz are from 19th century ornithologist John Gould, who spent his life researching and drawing birds all over the world. He published Birds of Australia in 1848 which include the illustrations present in this amazing print!
This colour way is a slight twist on the original - the birds are in black with a range of purples and aegean colours throughout areas of the fauna, branches and feathers.
